What is a Salt Lamp?
Millions of years ago, continents collided raising ocean beds high into the mountains of the Himalayas. Rock salt remained trapped deep in the cavernous depths of the Himalayan Mountains for centuries. Now, the once inaccessible crystal salt is accessible to the public. Himalayan salt crystal is pure, unpolluted, and without environmental impact. Himalayan salt comes from a time when the earth was pristine. It contains no impurities from environmental pollution and it is not treated with any chemicals. Salt rock lamps have the world's highest elemental content with 84 of the nutritional elements our bodies needs.
Himalayan Salt Crystal Lamps are reported to have a similar effect to ionizers. The natural salt lamps permeate their surroundings, releasing negative ions into the air. Negative ions are believed to kill bacteria, purify the air, reduce radiation, increase well-being and soothe the mind, body and soul. How does it work?
A UL certified cord connects to a light bulb and is then fed into the cavity of the crystal salt lamp. Once safely inside the cavity of the natural crystal lamp, a metal clip securely holds the cord and bulb in place. After the cord is plugged into the wall and the switch is flipped, your beautiful salt lamp will light up instantly.
Where do I put my lamp?
Salt lamps make wonderful additions to bedrooms, bathrooms, offices and dining tables. We recommend placing bigger rock salt lamps in bigger rooms. Larger salt rock lamps emit more negative ions than smaller ones due to the greater amount of lamp surface area. These original rock salt lamps should be left on as long as possible to ensure that optimal ionization occurs.
What is included with my lamp?
All of our original salt lamps come fully equipped with a standard UL Certified Cord, Light Bulb, finely stained and polished Rosewood Base, Iron Screws and a Plastic Bag for moisture protection. Our natural tea lights include a moisture protection Plastic Bag. Every Himalayan salt product is individually boxed with product stickers and stickers of origin.
Payment
We accept multiple forms of payment. All major credit card providers are accepted, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. All Web transactions are fully secured through a 128-bit encryption security system. However, if you feel uncomfortable using your credit card online, we would be happy to assist you over the phone during regular business hours PST (Pacific Standard Time). Checks and money orders are another form of payment we accept. If using a check or money order, please allow an additional couple of days for payment to process and order to ship.
Shipping & Return Policy
Is Shipping Included?
Shipping and handling is not included unless otherwise indicated. A separate shipping and handling fee will be assessed at the time of checkout based on recipients zip code. All products are shipped UPS Ground.
How is it Packaged?
All rock salt lamps and rock tea lights are wrapped in a moisture resistant plastic bag with fully insulated bubble wrapping. The item is secured in a durable brown product box and then placed in a second box for additional shipping protection.
How long will it take to arrive?
All in-stock products are shipped the same day (order must be received by 3:00 PM). Orders will ship in 1-3 business days. Orders received on Holidays and Weekends will ship out the following business day. We use UPS Ground as our shipping provider. Once the order has been received and processed, the customer will receive an email containing a UPS tracking number. Please allow 2-6 business days for shipping.
What is the return policy?
All products carry a Life Time Guarantee. If items are damaged during shipping, they will be fully insured by our shipping provider and the customer will receive a replacement product straightaway.
In the event the customer is not completely satisfied with their purchase they may return the product for a refund within 30 days of purchase. Please note original packaging must be included to receive a refund. Customers will pay a 10% restocking fee and the return-shipping. Please call 1-800-9960-CHI (244) to obtain a Return Number before mailing any returns.
